Thailand-based Dusit Hotels and Resorts has signed an agreement with Pearl Atoll Private Limited to manage DusitD2 Faydhoo Maldives, a 125-star flagship lifestyle resort on a private island near the main island of Male.
Currently under construction and scheduled to open in Q4 2024, the new resort will operate under Dusit’s luxury brand dusitD2 and will be the company’s first ‘all-inclusive’ property. In addition to spacious overwater villas and family suites ranging from 77 to 319 square meters, this lifestyle-driven resort features a kids club, multiple dining options, a fully equipped gym, and a signature Nam restaurant offering a variety of Thai cuisine. It has a spa. Massage therapy and beauty treatments. Guests will find three main private beaches to relax on, as well as a small “picnic beach” where they can enjoy memorable meals on the sand.
Taking advantage of the resort’s proximity to Velana International Airport, just a five-minute speedboat ride away, the resort’s developers also plan to open a resort-based entertainment hub and a small convention center, adding to the core resort experience. We accommodate guests exceeding the number of guests. These will be announced at a later date and will be managed by Dusit. Great care is taken to ensure that all elements of the resort blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Tree of Life, Dusit’s group-wide sustainability program, further strengthens this commitment by implementing processes and systems that minimize environmental impact.
DusitD2 Faydhoo Maldives is Dusit’s second resort in the Maldives. The company also operates Dusit Thani Maldives, an award-winning luxury resort on Mududu Island in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ first UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
