Jumeirah Ol’Hali Island has unveiled a special wellness programme to mark the World Wellness Weekend, taking place from 20-22 September 2024. The specially curated event aligns with the five pillars of wellness – sleep and creativity, nutrition and immunity, movement and vitality, mindfulness and calm, and purpose and connectedness – delivered free of charge each year in support of the UN’s goal of good health and wellbeing. With one custom activity per day aligned with each of the five pillars, guests can indulge in purpose-nurturing experiences including:
- Purpose and Unity: A range of treatments, such as the Sodashi Heart Chakra Face and Body Alignment, are designed as a fusion of healing techniques to bring balance and harmony to the chakra system while restoring complexion.
- Movement and vitality: Guests can enjoy active activities like dance classes and mat pilates throughout the resort.
- Mindfulness and Serenity: Through activities that promote and practice mindfulness and concentration, guests can book sessions such as Prana, Trataka and Tibetan singing bowl meditation. In the privacy of their contemporary villas, guests can also enjoy customized bathing rituals for guests of all ages, including soothing bubble baths with citrus-scented oils and luxurious amenities.
- Sleep and creativity: In addition to jet lag massages and Shirodhara treatments, guests can customise their sleep experience with the resort’s curated pillow menu, which offers nine different options, from cassia seed pillows to orthopedic pillows, designed to enhance sleep quality and provide maximum comfort.
- Nutrition and Immunity: Throughout the weekend, Jumeirah Olhahali Island’s diverse F&B options will be showcasing healthier lifestyle choices through bespoke gourmet and nutritious food stations, including freshly made fruit juices, healthy elixir shots, Ayurvedic-inspired drinks and a range of healthy mains from salads to soups.
