• 8:30 a.m. ET; First weekly unemployment claim The report will be published. The consensus was 230,000 initial claims, up from 227,000 last week.
• Also, at 8:30 A.M. personal income and expenses For September. The consensus is that personal income will increase by 0.4% and personal spending will increase by 0.4%. And the core PCE price index will rise by 0.3%. PCE prices are expected to rise 2.1% year-on-year, and core PCE prices are expected to rise 2.6% year-on-year.
• 9:45 a.m.; Chicago Purchasing Managers Index For October. The consensus is expected to be 46.0, down from 46.6 in September.
