of Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) 2024 will host the 1st INSPire Forum, an event aimed at strengthening the business and economic partnership between India and Singapore.
Sponsored in collaboration with IIM Alumni Singapore ElevandiThe forum, a not-for-profit arm of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), will be the first of its kind to be an ‘event within an event’.
The platform aims to foster dialogue, cooperation and partnership between leaders, entrepreneurs and policy makers of both countries.
The INSPire Forum will cover key themes such as the transition to renewable energy, open digital commerce, large-scale workforce upskilling, and India’s economic growth path towards a USD 7 trillion economy.
The forum will feature 25 speakers, including prominent IIM alumni and thought leaders from India and Singapore, who will provide insights into these global priorities.
IIM Alumni Singapore, the largest IIM alumni network outside India with over 3,000 professionals, is playing a central role in launching this initiative.
The network’s efforts are supported by an Alumni Advisory Board that includes prominent personalities such as Jio Financial Services Chairman KV Kamith and SEBI Chairman Madhabi Puri Buch.
These leaders helped curate the event’s agenda and content, ensuring the event covered topics relevant to both countries.
The forum includes “A Journey to the Global South,” which focuses on the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition; Sessions include “Handbook for Digital Cross-Border Trade.”
Other sessions will discuss investment opportunities in India and workforce upskilling strategies related to advances in AI and technology.
SFF is known as one of the world’s largest fintech gatherings, attracting over 66,000 attendees from 150 countries in 2023 and featuring speakers such as Bill Gates, Satya Nadella and Ajay Banga. did.
This year, the focus will be on the role of AI and quantum computing in transforming the global digital economy and financial services.
