Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) today announced its Board of Directors and International Advisory Board.
GFTN was established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to foster innovation in the financial sector and brings together a team of prominent figures from the public and private sectors from around the world.
GFTN operates through four strategic businesses. GFTN Forum is a global conference platform focused on finance and technology. GFTN Advisory provides practitioner-led advisory services and innovation policy research. GFTN Platform, a service hub for small and medium-sized businesses and fintech companies. GFTN Capital is an investment fund targeting technology startups with potential for growth and social impact.
Ravi Menon, Singapore’s climate ambassador and former managing director of MAS, will chair the board.

He will be joined by Deputy Chairman Leong Sing Chiong, Deputy Managing Director of MAS, and Mr Neil Parekh, Member of Parliament nominated and Non-Executive Chairman of Tikehau Capital.
The International Advisory Board supporting the Board includes prominent figures from the global public and private sectors who are committed to fostering innovation.
GFTN replaces and builds on Elevandi, which organized and globalized. Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF).
MAS’ current Chief Fintech Officer, Sopnendu Mohanty, will become Group CEO on February 1, 2025.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Gay, MAS’ executive director of enterprise knowledge, will become chief fintech officer.
