The system is built on Google Cloud infrastructure and integrated with Visa’s global payments network using Visa Cloud Connect.
CMS aims to leverage cloud infrastructure to power payment processing in Vietnam and enable secure and streamlined operations.
Visa Cloud Connect enables financial institutions to connect to Visa’s network through the cloud, increasing scalability, lowering operational costs, and faster market access.
Cake is the world’s first issuing bank to adopt Visa Cloud Connect on Google Cloud.
The platform supports multiple cards and transaction types with a focus on maintaining high security standards.
Its modern architecture incorporates Google Cloud technologies such as GKE Enterprise and BigQuery to optimize scalability and efficiency.
Recently, the bank introduced Vietnam’s first disposable virtual debit card through CMS and plans to expand its product line by adding debit and credit card options.
