Aung Kyaw Moe, founder and CEO of Southeast Asian Payments Company 2C2P, announced that he would step down from his role in the first week of April 2025 after leading the company for 22 years.
2C2P Thailand CEO Piyachart Ratanaprasartporn will also resign.
Founded in Bangkok in 2003, 2C2p moved its headquarters to Singapore with support from the Singapore government’s InfoComm Media Development Authority (IMDA).
In April 2022, Ant International, the international business division of ANT Group, I’ve got it 2C2P’s majority stake has begun developing integrated products and solutions on Antom Merchant’s payments and digitalization platform.

Looking back on his journey, Aung expressed his appreciation for his team’s efforts, partners, regulators and clients’ support, noting that the company’s growth exceeded his expectations.
After departure, Aung will focus on research and writing.
As a doctorate in business administration from Sasin School of Management, he studies the challenges of startup growth in Southeast Asia.
He is also working on a memoir entitled “Red Kite.”
