Canareef Resort Maldives has announced the appointment of Brenda Prosper as its new Head of Human Resources. With extensive experience in hospitality and human resources management, Brenda brings a wealth of experience and passion for fostering a positive work environment to her new role.
Brenda began her successful career in 2013 as the HR Coordinator at the 5-star Savoy Resort & Spa in Seychelles during its pre-opening. She then progressed to serve as HR Director at Creole Travel Services, a leading destination management company in Seychelles. This role marked the start of Brenda’s dynamic career path, taking her to the UAE where she lent her expertise to the 5-star Anantara Desert Islands Resort in Abu Dhabi and Bin Majid Resort in Ras Al Khaimah.
Her dedication and skills were further recognised when she served as Assistant HR Manager at Komandoo Island Resort in the Maldives. Brenda’s outstanding performance saw her promoted to HR Manager in just one year. Following this success, she returned to Seychelles to join the five-star Anantara Maia Seychelles as Assistant People & Culture Manager where she continued to work hard to enhance employee experience and organisational culture.
Brenda’s career has been marked by an unwavering commitment to creating a positive work environment and working within diverse cultures. Her leadership style, rooted in integrity, has earned her the respect and trust of her colleagues. As the HR Manager at Canareef Resort Maldives, Brenda is committed to fostering a culture of open communication, continuous learning, employee happiness and growth.
