This graph shows the number of reported deaths by week (vertical bars).
We met our original goal of stopping posting weekly death counts, but we are continuing to post because deaths have exceeded our goal again.
The weekly death toll is three times higher than the low of 302 in early June, but is now on the decline and is likely to continue to decline, according to wastewater sampling.

This appears to be a leading indicator of hospitalization and death from the coronavirus.
Coronavirus in wastewater is on the decline, increasing by only about 50% compared to last May’s lows, suggesting weekly deaths will continue to decline.
