Standard Chartered Bank has established a new investment vehicle in Singapore called Standard Chartered Fund VCC (SC Fund).
The new legal entity will enable the bank to offer a range of funds that give clients access to unique investment strategies.
Partnering with the world’s leading fund managers Standard Chartered It aims to combine the expertise of top fund managers with its own team of global asset class specialists.
The partnership will offer customized investment strategies to the bank’s clients, aligned with an open architecture framework that selects best-of-breed solutions from across various fund managers and asset classes.
The SC Fund is managed by a team of investment professionals from various geographies who have extensive experience in manager selection.
The bank said its rigorous due diligence process ensures it identifies strategies that deliver consistently strong results.
The new series of funds will leverage the expertise of selected sub-investment managers who will be responsible for investment decisions and portfolio management.
These funds support long-term strategic asset allocation as part of clients’ underlying portfolios.
The service will initially be available to high net worth clients who qualify as accredited or professional investors in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai, specifically within the bank’s Priority, Priority Private and Private segments.
