From Mannheim Consulting today: Used car wholesale prices fell in April
Used car wholesale prices (on a configuration, mileage, and seasonally adjusted basis) in April fell compared to March. The Mannheim Used Vehicle Value Index (MUVVI) fell to 198.4. 14.0% decrease compared to the previous year. Seasonal adjustments to the index magnified the results for the month, resulting in a 2.3% month-on-month decline. Unadjusted prices in April were down 0.6% compared to March, and average unadjusted prices were down 11.9% compared to the same month last year.
