The soybean cyst nematode is a small but highly destructive soybean pest. It is so harmful that its presence can cause yield losses of up to 25% before symptoms appear.
Once SCN enters the field, it never disappears. There is still an opportunity to keep this pest out of fields in Manitoba and the west. In Ontario, this pest is so widespread that reducing egg levels is a goal. How do you do that? That’s the topic of this episode of The Agronomists.
