With Eid Al Adha fast approaching, Lily Hotels has announced grand celebrations at Lily Beach Resort & Spa and Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa. The celebrations will take place from 16th to 20th June 2024.
Located in the heart of South Ari Atoll, Lily Beach Resort & Spa kicks off the festivities in the evening with a lively ‘Maali’ parade, a traditional procession showcasing the Maldives’ rich cultural folklore as participants dress up as iconic characters from ancient tales.
On 17th June, guests are invited to Vibes for an evening filled with festive drinks, live music and dancing. Celebrate Eid in style with a night of joy and entertainment. The celebrations will culminate with a friendly football match between the Lily Beach team and guests at Lily Beach’s beautiful football grounds, fostering camaraderie and fun to conclude the Eid festivities on 18th June.
In the secluded Haa Alifu Atoll of the Maldives, Eid celebrations kick off with a traditional Bodu Mas parade at Hideaway on 17 June. This enchanting parade features large thatched fish and the rhythmic sounds of Bodu Bell drums. The day ends with a sumptuous Eid-themed buffet at Matifaru Restaurant, followed by live music and a DJ.
The following day, enjoy a special Arabian Nightcap with 40% off drinks, perfect for a relaxing evening under the stars. The celebrations will conclude with an exquisite Arabian-themed barbecue dinner at Oasis Long Beach, complete with soft live music.
