From the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau: Las Vegas visitor statistics for April 2024
Strengths in both leisure and convention areas Las Vegas visitor numbers surpass 3.5 million in April, up 3.8% from a year ago.
Participation in the tournament increased by 36% compared to the previous year, due in part to differences in schedule. In addition to shows such as ISC West – International Security Conference (20,000 attendees, held in April 2024, held last March), there will also be new shows such as the Google Cloud Next show (30,000 attendees), the Craft Brewers Conference (12,000 attendees) and the PZ3 Live Veterinary & Pet Technology Conference (5,000 attendees).
Despite an increase in room availability compared to April of last year, the hotel’s overall occupancy reached 85.5% (up 1.2 points), weekend occupancy reached 93.4% (up 1.0 points), and weekday occupancy reached 82.6% (up 1.7 points). ADR exceeded $182 and RevPAR approached $156, representing year-over-year increases of 6.6% and 8.1%, respectively.

Visitor numbers increased by 3.8% compared to April last year. Visitor numbers decreased by 0.8% compared to the same month in 2019.
