United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Singapore Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) Launched a global initiative focused on digital inclusion ATx SummitThe event attracted over 4,000 guests from over 85 countries across the technology and government sectors.
The summit is part of Asia Tech x Singapore, a technology platform connecting over 25,000 global and industry decision-makers to drive a digitally inclusive future.
Over the next 100 days, UNDP will conduct a global consultation involving its networks across 170 countries and territories, as well as national counterparts and practitioners, to garner comprehensive insights on strengthening digital inclusion.
This initiative goes beyond just physical and financial access to technology to address key aspects of digital access, including digital literacy, trust and confidence.
As technology and global trends rapidly evolve, it is essential that digital inclusion strategies also adapt accordingly. Interested parties are invited to join the 100-day global consultation. here.

The playbook provides a framework, policy recommendations and global case studies to help countries ensure digital inclusion within their communities.
This includes initiatives like Singapore’s Digital Skills for Life (DSL) Framework, which is part of the national Digital for Life (DfL) movement and provides resources to acquire digital skills available online. IMDA’s DfL Portal.
Insights gained from the global consultation will strengthen the Digital Inclusion Playbook and broaden its future perspective, foster a network of policymakers and practitioners, and shape potential collaborations and initiatives.

As part of the ATxSummit, IMDA was honored to host a panel discussion of experts and practitioners from different continents and countries. There was a rich exchange of experiences and learnings among experts and practitioners from the private, national and public sectors, including international organisations such as UNDP and the World Bank.”
