annual Oslo Freedom Forum By Human Rights Foundation The event, taking place from June 3rd to 5th in Oslo, Norway, will bring together an interdisciplinary group of activists, artists, technologists and entrepreneurs seeking to support freedom fighters and humanitarian efforts against authoritarian regimes around the world.
The event will conclude on June 5 with Bitcoin programming, Financial Freedom Track Available on Bitcoin Magazine X (Twitter), Youtube, Facebook and LinkedIn Social media channels.
The first two days of the Oslo 2024 Freedom Forum featured talks by LaWanda human rights activists and real-life heroes of “Hotel LaWanda.” Paul RusesabaginaIranian dissident cartoonist Athena FalghadaniResearcher, author of “The Body Keeps the Score” Dr. Bessel van der KolkCEO of Block Jack Dorsey.
The Financial Freedom track will feature Bitcoin industry figures and human rights activists who are focused on expanding access to open-source financial tools (specifically Bitcoin) to support protest and censorship-resistant transfer of value.
