From Mannheim Consulting today: Used car wholesale prices fell in May
Used vehicle wholesale prices (mixed, mileage and seasonally adjusted) declined in May compared to April. The Mannheim Used Vehicle Value Index (MUVVI) fell to 197.3. A decrease of 12.1% compared to the previous yearSeasonal adjustment of the index reduces monthly effects; 0.6% decrease from previous monthUnadjusted prices in May were down 1.2% compared to April, while unadjusted average prices were down 11.4% year-over-year.

The Manheim Consulting index is based on all sales transactions completed at Manheim’s U.S. auctions.
Used-car prices fell in May (seasonally adjusted), down 12.1% from a year earlier, according to the Mannheim Index.
