COLOURS OF OBLU, a lifestyle hospitality brand within Atmosphere Core, is bringing Spain’s Bodegas Martín Códax Wine Gala to three private island resorts in the Maldives, creating a delightful experience for travellers from around the world.
The unforgettable wine extravaganza will take place on 22nd and 23rd September at OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO, on 25th and 26th September at OBLU SELECT Sangeli, and will conclude on 28th and 29th September at OBLU SELECT Lobigili, voted the #1 Luxury Hotel in the World at the 2024 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards.
As part of the Wine Gala, the 600 family winery ambassadors from Northern Spain that make up Bodegas Martín Codax will host dazzling multi-course wine experiences across two evenings at each resort. Guests will enjoy a symphony of flavors with special wines perfectly paired with each dish. The Spanish-style meal will culminate under a twinkling starry sky. Resort guests can also listen to the incredible wine stories of Spain’s Galician coast while watching the Maldivian sunset, stopping off to savour colorful wines and delicious aperitifs.
Founded in 1985, Bodegas Martín Codax is named after the famous Galician troubadour who sang about love, the sea and enchanting coastlines. What began as a dream project by a group of winegrowers from the Rias Baixas wine region has reunited over 600 local families to produce the highest quality wine possible, while respecting Galicia’s unique terroir.
