Singapore Income Insurance Co., Ltd. The company said it is currently in discussions with Allianz about a potential transaction for a stake in Income Insurance.
This seems to indicate a change in share ownership or a significant investment is on the way.
Income Insurance stressed that there was no certainty that a deal would be reached or that a binding agreement would be reached.
Established in 1970, Income Insurance, formerly known as NTUC Income, is a general insurance company offering life, health and general insurance.
The company statement,
“Income Insurance intends to make further announcements if there are any material developments requiring disclosure in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.”
