Major reports this week are May new home sales, the third estimate of first-quarter GDP, May personal income and spending, and the Case-Shiller home price index for April.
On the manufacturing side, the Dallas, Kansas City and Richmond Federal Reserve Banks will be releasing their manufacturing surveys for June.

8:30 AM ET: Chicago Fed National Activity Index May. This is a composite index of other data.
9:00AM: S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index For April.
This chart shows the year-over-year changes in the seasonally adjusted national index, the Composite 10 index, and the Composite 20 index through the most recent report (the Composite 20 was launched in January 2000).
The national index rose 6.5% year-on-year in March.
9:00AM: FHFA Home Price Index April issue. Originally it was a repeat sale of only GSE, but there is also an extended index.
10 am: Richmond Fed Manufacturing Activity Survey For June.
10 am: State Employment and Unemployment (Monthly) May 2024.

7:00 AM EST: The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Mortgage Purchase Application Index.
10 am: New Home Sales May statistics from the Census Bureau.
This graph shows new home sales since 1963. The dashed line is last month’s sales rate.
The consensus is for SAAR 650,000, up from 634,000 in April.
Daytime: AIA Billings Index of Architecture (leading indicator for commercial real estate) for May.

8:30 AM: Unemployment claims (weekly) The report is coming out, and the consensus is that new claims are up to 240,000, up from 238,000 last week.
8:30 AM: Gross domestic product, 1st quarter 2024 (Third estimate) The consensus is that real GDP in the first quarter increased at an annualized rate of 1.3%, unchanged from the second estimate of a 1.3% increase.
8:30 AM: Durable Goods Orders The Census Bureau releases durable goods orders for May. The consensus estimate is a 0.3% increase.
10 am: Pending Home Sales Index A decline of 0.3% is expected in May.
11AM: Kansas City Fed Manufacturing Survey For June.

8:30 AM ET: Personal Income and Expenditures, May 2024The consensus is that personal income will increase by 0.4% and personal spending will increase by 0.3%.
9:45 AM: Chicago Purchasing Managers’ Index For June.
10 am: University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index (Final episode in June).
