Full-suite payments platform 2C2P and MineSec have launched a new cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) payments app for Android devices in Singapore.
The collaboration will introduce a versatile solution that enables businesses to accept tap-to-pay and QR payments directly on NFC-enabled Android devices – believed to be a first in Singapore.
The app supports major card schemes such as Visa and Mastercard, as well as popular digital wallets including PayNow, GrabPay, Alipay and WeChat Pay.
Merchants can also easily view integrated payments on their mobile application.
While the initial rollout is focused on Singapore, the collaboration paves the way for future expansion to other markets across Asia.
The initiative comes in response to the growing popularity of digital wallets and QR payments in Singapore, which is predicted to see a significant increase in user adoption by 2025.
The app aims to streamline in-store transactions for large businesses and small to medium-sized merchants by transforming Android devices into secure contactless payment terminals.
“At 2C2P, our commitment to continuous innovation keeps us at the forefront of the digital payments ecosystem. As a leading e-commerce payment solutions company, we are strategically expanding our services to meet the growing demand for a seamless in-store payment experience.”
This move strengthens our commitment to providing comprehensive payment coverage and offers 2C2P merchants a cost-effective and versatile contactless payment solution.”
