Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi has appointed Mohamed Muslim as its new Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. A native of Fuvahmulah, Maldives, Muslim brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for hospitality to the renowned luxury resort.
Muslim has held several prestigious positions within the Food & Beverage industry, including previously serving as Food & Beverage Operations Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Island where he played a key role in elevating the culinary experience offered by the resort, and as Pre-Opening Outlet Manager at the same resort where he demonstrated his expertise in establishing and managing premium F&B outlets.
His extensive career also includes key stints at renowned resorts such as Huvafen Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives and Anantara Resort & Spa in the Maldives and Oman. Starting as an F&B Attendant and progressing to Assistant Outlet Manager, through each role he gained a deep understanding of operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Muslim’s skills include strong leadership, commercial acumen, analytical ability and a sharp focus on building successful relationships with both customers and employees. His commitment to elevating service standards and delivering a memorable dining experience for every guest aligns perfectly with Waldorf Astoria’s commitment to luxury and excellence.
