JOALI BEING has announced the appointment of Frédéric Marty as Resort Manager.
Having grown up with a Catalan grandmother who ran a hotel restaurant in Palames, Spain, Frederic naturally decided to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. He began his career as a commissary waiter at the Roca Brothers’ 3-star Michelin restaurant in Girona. Originally from France, Frederic worked at the legendary Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.
In London, he worked with Michelin-starred chef James Atherton at Pollen Street Social and was restaurant manager at London’s Town Hall Hotel, as well as wine director and general manager at Pop-Up, before going on to become beverage director at the Dorchester Collection.
Frederick recently worked as Food & Beverage Director at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. He is excited to take up this new role as Resort Manager at JOALI BEING and says the wellbeing island is a reflection of his lifestyle. He is a marathon runner, yoga master and meditation enthusiast.
Opening in 2021, JOALI BEING is the first wellbeing island in the Maldives, offering a transformative experience of self-discovery and renewal that is personalized to the guest’s current situation and results-driven.
