Canareef Resort Maldives celebrated Maldivian Independence Day with a friendly volleyball match between the resort’s staff and the Hithadhoo team. The event took place on 26 July at 8:30pm at the resort’s volleyball ground.
About 30 participants, including resort guests, gathered to cheer on the teams. Both teams fought hard for victory, and the match was a display of sportsmanship and friendship. In the end, the Canareef team emerged victorious, but the real winner was the spirit of unity and cooperation fostered at the event.
Beyond competitive spirit, the match was intended to strengthen the bond between the resort and the local community. By organising such an event, Canaleaf demonstrates its commitment to being an active and proactive member of the Addo community.
