Patina Maldives will once again welcome acclaimed mural and window artist, illustrator and designer Aga Skiba as Artist in Residence from 4th August to 25th August 2024.
The residency marks Aga’s second inspiring visit to Patina Maldives, following his captivating debut in July 2023. Aga Skiba’s artistry embodies a harmonious blend of individuality and connection, transcending the boundaries of temporary and permanent window art, imbuing every piece with wonder and profound creativity. During the residency, Aga will curate a series of transformative artistic initiatives that celebrate the seamless integration of art, nature and connection.
Portico window mural
Aga realised her unique vision in the stunning murals that adorn the windows of the Portico Library, creating a visual dialogue between the interior and the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
Footprints Mural
Another stunning mural will be created at Footprints Kids Club, combining artistic expression with the essence of Patina’s calming and invigorating atmosphere.
Atelier Workshop
Guests will have the rare opportunity to engage with Aga in interactive workshops at Fari Art Atelier, where she will share her artistic techniques and insights, nurturing creativity and community among participants. At Patina Maldives, the desired, the unexpected, the sophisticated and the fresh come together to reveal layers and depths of possibility through precious time together.
