These strategic additions to the commercial team underscore the resort’s commitment to excellence in expanding its market presence and driving business growth.
Teges Triguna brings extensive experience in the hospitality industry with a passionate passion for marketing to elevate resort strategies across PR, digital platforms and social media. Prior to joining The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, Teges served as Marketing Communications Manager at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa where he was responsible for completing the property’s marketing plan, managing the digital campaign and coordinating all publication and property image communications. Having begun his career at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Teges is familiar with the Westin brand and this appointment marks a warm return for him to the Westin family.
Complementing the team, Hussain Fairuz joins as Sales Manager, known for his ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in highly competitive sectors. A native of the Maldives, Fairuz will oversee Destination Management Company’s Maldives, Middle East and India markets, bringing valuable insight and expertise. Outside of work, Fairuz is a sociable person who enjoys dancing to bodu beru. In his free time, he enjoys going to karaoke and keeping fit at the gym.
