Northland’s Taipa Beach Resort has new management: from August 1, Capstone Hotel Management has taken over management of Taipa Beach Resort, the 32-room beachfront resort at Doubtless Bay.
Capstone said it has ambitious plans for the Taipa Beach Resort acquisition, including appointing a new general manager and chef and revamping the food and beverage menu. The resort will also undergo a rebranding, launch a new website and undergo major operational improvements.
Perfectly located for meetings, events and leisure stays, the resort is slated for significant improvements under Capstone’s leadership.
Claire Davis, founder and managing director of Capstone Hotel Management, said: “Taipa Beach Resort is the perfect beachside base from which to explore New Zealand’s Far North region. We look forward to bringing a new approach and consistency to its operations, enhancing the guest experience for both meetings and leisure travellers.”
Taipa Beach Resort offers a range of accommodations including 32 deluxe and superior studios, suites and apartments, many with views of the Pacific Ocean. The resort also features a conference centre, cafe, restaurant, bar, pool, spa, barbecue facilities, tennis courts, fish filleting station and car and boat parking.
Located in the coastal town of Taipa on Northland’s Doubtless Bay, Taipa Beach Resort is approximately a 20-minute drive from Kaitaia Airport or a four-hour drive from Auckland along the Twin Coast Discovery Highway.
Taipa Beach Resort is owned by New Zealand-based Taipa Management Limited, which has handed over management to Capstone to lead the beachfront property into an exciting new era.
