Marathon Digital Holdings, a major U.S.-based bitcoin mining company, has announced that all bitcoin blocks mined in the U.S. Engraving Labeled “Made in USA.” The company Declared At X, “MARA is Team USA,” as we proudly proclaim with every American-made Bitcoin block we mine.

Marathon Digital CEO Fred Thiel highlighted the effort. state“All blocks mined in the US on the MARA Pool are proudly stamped ‘Made in USA’. We are the only large miner that can do this because we operate our own pool and guarantee that all blocks mined on the MARA Pool are made in the USA.”
The effort is in keeping with comments made by presidential candidate Donald Trump earlier this summer. Expressed President Trump believes that increased domestic bitcoin mining can help America achieve its goal of becoming an energy-led nation, and wants “all the remaining bitcoin to be American-made.” He also reiterated his support for domestic bitcoin mining at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, promising to ensure that American miners receive the electricity they need to mine more bitcoin within the United States.
Today, Marathon Digital Announced Following the corporate bitcoin accumulation strategy pioneered by MicroStrategy, the company aims to complete a $250 million private offering of convertible notes and use the proceeds to buy even more bitcoin.
