This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionize the logistics sector by enabling fleet operators to convert their existing Tata ACE Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) or fixed battery vehicles into swappable Electric Vehicles (EVs) equipped with SUN Mobility’s cutting-edge battery swapping technology.
The launch event, attended by several Tata ACE fleet operators and finance professionals, highlighted the many benefits of retrofitting the vehicles. Powered by SUN Mobility’s swappable battery technology, the Tata ACE electric vehicle offers significant cost savings compared to purchasing new diesel or CNG vehicles. Fleet operators can realize approximately 30% monthly cost savings when switching from CNG vehicles to battery-swappable EVs, and approximately 40% monthly cost savings when switching from diesel vehicles.
The electric vehicle, Tata ACE, can operate during curfew hours in the Delhi region, helping fleet operators extend vehicle life, reduce operational costs and increase uptime, ensuring improved productivity.
