On the 22nd and 23rd, the resort’s award-winning restaurant, Muraka, will host a unique pop-up dining experience by Michelin-starred Chef Thierry Drapeau of Signature Bangkok.
Renowned for his refined and expressive “earthy cuisine,” Chef Thierry Drapeau will collaborate with Muraka’s talented culinary team to create a unique five-course menu. The gastronomic event will combine local Maldivian ingredients with an international twist, showcasing the art of fine cuisine in one of the world’s most breathtaking settings.

A native of Nantes in the Loire Valley, France, Chef Thierry Drapeau has built an illustrious career driven by his dedication to “earthy cuisine”, a culinary approach that highlights the connection between land, sea and plate. His passion for sourcing the finest ingredients and his ability to create complex yet harmonious flavours have earned him international acclaim. Prior to his current role at Signature Bangkok, Chef Thierry led the renowned restaurant Logis de la Chaboterie in Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon, where he maintained two Michelin stars for nine consecutive years. After honing his craft in France for 15 years, Chef Thierry sought new challenges in Asia, where he continues to make a major impact on the culinary world.
