From Mannheim Consulting today: Used car wholesale prices fell in September
Used car wholesale prices (on a configuration, mileage, and seasonally adjusted basis) in September fell compared to August. The Mannheim Used Vehicle Value Index (MUVVI) fell to 203.0. 5.3% decrease compared to previous year. Seasonal adjustment of the index amplified the monthly changes, as the non-seasonally adjusted values decreased slightly. The unadjusted price in September was down 0.1% compared to August, and the average unadjusted price was down 4.9% compared to the same month last year.
