Cambodia is alipay+ Use KHQR, the national QR code system, to enable seamless international payments.
With this release, users of 12 international payment apps, including Alipay, AlipayHK, GCash, and Touch ‘n Go, can now pay at over 1 million merchants in Cambodia using Cambodia’s standardized QR code, KHQR. It will look like this.
More merchants are expected to be added over time, further expanding the availability of payments in the country.
Payments can be made in Cambodian Riels, providing a reasonable solution for purchasing goods and services.
Introduced by KHQR. National Bank of Cambodia As part of the Bakong payment system in 2022, it was designed to simplify QR payments for both customers and merchants by using a single QR code across multiple mobile banking apps.
This collaboration between Alipay+ and the Bakong system through KHQR is an important step in expanding cross-border payments within ASEAN.

Alipay+ already supports cross-border QR code payments in several other countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
