generator joined forces with wonder fruit festival We are taking over Thailand’s boutique camping village for our December event, bringing Generator’s social-powered hospitality experience to Asia for the first time.
The award-winning global hospitality brand draws inspiration from design-led properties around the world to create cozy camping accommodations for festival attendees known as ‘Wanderers’. Guests will be able to book air-conditioned private bell tents and RVs, as well as an industry-first dormitory-style reservation option that allows them to share a three-bed tent with other solo travelers.
This shared offering not only allows guests to enjoy Wonderfruit’s luxurious on-site accommodations at a more affordable price, but also provides an opportunity to make new connections during their stay. The experience will be enhanced by the generator’s bespoke gamification and unique programming in the boutique camping village, hand-picked to encourage social interaction and create a more memorable experience.
During their stay, Boutique Campers can take part in activities such as community-curated art installations, attend music sessions, or simply explore one of the many collections designed to encourage conversation and find inspiration from around the world. You can even take part in one of our social games. From world-famous activities like beer pong and giant Jenga to games like Molki, a Finnish throwing game similar to bowling, this village transforms a boutique camping experience into a social hub with its own restaurant and bar. Masu.
Generator CEO Alastair Thomansaid: “We are constantly redefining what travel accommodations should look and feel like for our communities, creating unique experiences and spaces for our guests to meet, share, and make memories.” Because the festival is all about community, we brought Generator to Wonderfruit to bring our personality and DNA to the cultural event. That’s what we’re really excited about. We’re bringing something fresh and different to this year’s venue, creating an engaging destination for our guests to enjoy in between exploring the festival and exploring. We look forward to introducing our brand to a new audience of mindful and creative travelers.”
John Law, Managing Director, Wonderfruitsaid: “We are excited to partner with Generator to bring a fresh new experience to boutique camping. They bring their own global style with a local touch, offering Wanderers an elevated camping experience with a unique twist on dining and social-led activities, all within a dedicated village. What’s really exciting is the introduction of the shared tent concept, uniting solo wanderers for the first time ever. We are proud to pioneer this new way of bringing our community together and look forward to seeing it come to life with Wonderfruit”
