From Mannheim Consulting today: Used car wholesale prices fell in October
Wholesale used car prices (on a configuration, mileage, and seasonally adjusted basis) fell in October compared to September. The Mannheim Used Vehicle Value Index (MUVVI) fell to 202.8. 3.2% decrease compared to previous year. Seasonal adjustment of the index reduced the monthly change because the rate of decline in the non-seasonally adjusted values was higher. Unadjusted prices in October were down 1.9% compared to September, and average unadjusted prices were down 3.7% compared to the same month last year.
