Singapore-headquartered global investment firm Temasek has announced the establishment of a dedicated private credit platform as part of its strategy to build a “resilient and future-proof portfolio”.
This movement is Temasekhas the ability to expand its portfolio of credit and hybrid solutions and capture global private credit opportunities.
The platform will manage a portfolio of approximately S$10 billion comprising existing direct investments and credit funds.
Temasek has been investing in credit funds for over 10 years and established a dedicated team for credit and hybrid solutions in 2016.
This new platform represents a further commitment to the private credit sector and will enable Temasek to expand its activities in this area.
The platform will be led by Nicolas Debetencourt, who has been with Temasek since 2016 and previously served as Head of Credit and Hybrid Solutions.
A team of approximately 15 experienced credit investment professionals based in New York, London and Singapore manage the platform’s portfolio.
The platform will work in addition to Temasek’s existing private credit solutions offered through SeaTown Holdings International, part of the Seviora Group.
