Mr. Dawkins established the Dawkins Family Foundation in 2022 to provide education and enrichment opportunities to youth. The foundation is awarding three scholarships to high school seniors, including one in honor of Dawkins’ late father, Darryl Dawkins. The organization provides educational workshops and sponsors charity events in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley region, where Dawkins attended Parkland High School.

Beyond his public role, Dawkins is a devoted son and brother who provides unwavering support to his family, especially his sister, who has Down syndrome.

About the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team was established in 1992 by the College Football Association to honor the hard work of college football players and student support staff off the field. AFCA became the governing body for the award in 1997 and continues to recognize college football players for their dedication to those in need. Allstate began awarding this award in the 2008 season.
Since its inception in 1992, the Southeastern Conference (SEC) leads the way with 89 conferences selected to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. The SEC is followed by the Atlantic Coast Conference with 55 selects and the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with 43 selects. Georgia ranks first with 24 people selected to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. The Bulldogs were followed by Kentucky and Bethel (Minnesota) with 18 recipients.
