Major payment company master card has completed its acquisition of Recorded Future, a cybersecurity company specializing in threat intelligence and AI-powered analytics.
The acquisition, worth USD 2.65 billion, announced In September of this year.
Mastercard said the acquisition strengthens its cybersecurity services focused on assessing cyber risks, protecting digital ecosystems, and building trust for businesses and individuals around the world.
Recorded Future’s technology is expected to help improve AI models and provide actionable insights for smarter threat detection and response.
This acquisition will enable Mastercard to provide enhanced services and intelligence to a broader customer base, increasing the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity tools and solutions.
We also aim to provide insights tailored to the needs of different customer groups.
