Hamza Mahmoud (also known as HAMZA 681) is a 16-year-old Cairo-based maker who creates fascinating electronic gadgets from simple materials. He grew up watching DIY videos online and eventually gained the courage to create his own projects to delight his friends and family. His work was impressive enough to catch the attention of the organizers of Maker Faire Cairo in 2022, and was successful enough to exhibit it again the following year.
Hamza wants everyone to know that they too can be a maker. To that end, he especially likes making interactive electronic crafts using accessible parts to create fun toys and games.
I love sharing my projects with the world. Because we believe everyone can learn something new and create something great. We especially want to encourage children to explore their creativity and build their own inventions. It’s easier than you think! With a little curiosity and some basic tools, you can bring your ideas to life. By sharing my work on YouTube and social media, I hope to connect with people around the world and foster a global community of makers and innovators.
