Adrian Taylor, executive general manager of property and casualty insurance at Compare the Market, says it’s important to consider: pet insurance.
“Whether you’re a cat or dog person, pet insurance can help cover accidents and illnesses your little friend may encounter.
“Depending on the level and type of pet insurance coverage, this type of insurance can help pay for expensive veterinary bills if your pet needs care.
“Keep in mind that pet insurance won’t necessarily cover your pet’s pre-existing conditions, so it’s important to insure your pet as soon as possible and understand what your policy covers.”
“Ultimately, a cat’s health and well-being are most affected by how well they are cared for in the home, not the location of their home.”
