Cohen Jonker, Founder and CEO time group recently announced that aaron fu will assume the role of Chief Product Officer in the multi-country Digital Banking Group.
Tyme operates in South Africa through TymeBank and in the Philippines through GoTyme Bank, serving more than 15 million users in both regions.
In his new role, Aaron will oversee Time Group’s product development across both digital banks.
Aaron joined the group in 2019 and has been instrumental in shaping Tyme’s strategy and product innovation, contributing to its growth and expansion into new markets.
He then took on the role of Chief Strategic Proposal Officer at GoTyme Bank, a joint venture with members of the Gokongwei Group, where he led efforts to enhance digital banking services.
GoTyme Bank offers features such as instant account opening and debit card issuance through shopping mall kiosks.

The announcement is as follows Tyme Group’s USD 250 million funding round December 2024, led by Nubank. This funding elevated Time to unicorn status.
