Minor Hotels, one of the world’s leading hotel owners and operators, won 22 awards at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2024, with properties in the Maldives winning seven awards. The awards ceremony, held on the evening of 13 June 2024, celebrated excellence across the luxury travel sector and showcased the best of hospitality in the region.
The awards are determined through an extensive online survey conducted by Travel + Leisure, where readers around the world vote for their favorite luxury hotels, resorts and experiences, recognizing outstanding achievements in the travel and hospitality industry.
Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas stood out by winning multiple awards including 2nd place Best Resort in the Maldives, 2nd place Best House Reef and 3rd place Best Hotel Pool. Additionally, the resort was also featured in the categories of ‘Most Astonishing Villa’ and ‘Best Resort Spa’, cementing its reputation as a top Maldives destination.
Crescent at Niyama Private Island Maldives, a collection of secluded overwater villas with private pools and dedicated butlers, also won, coming in fourth in its category.
