Ifuru Island Maldives has announced an unforgettable workshop with Australian artist Anna Rohe, which will guide participants through the creation of Ifuru’s signature artwork, “Ifuru Magic”, which can be seen throughout the resort. Anna will also act as a painting coach, helping participants create their own masterpiece during a two-hour masterclass at Ifuru Island Maldives on 10 July 2024. The masterclass costs S$50 per person, including materials.
Anna Rohe is an Australian abstract painter based in Sydney’s northern beaches (Garigarland), Australia. She creates vibrant and imaginative acrylic paintings on canvas with botanical, spiritual and native forest themes, using a colour palette suited to the contemporary home.
She thrives around colour and draws inspiration from the natural world. Most of Anna’s work stems from her passion for yoga, travel, friendship and family. A mother of two, Anna was born in Melbourne, Australia and has worked in London as part of a 25-year career in advertising and marketing.
“Ifuru Resort hadn’t even opened yet when I painted this iconic piece of art so I am so excited to see the resort in person. It’s been fun following the progress on Instagram but being able to experience it with my family will be magical. The masterclass to inspire guests to paint will be a highlight,” says Anna.
Anna is the talented artist and creator of the iconic “Ifuru Magic” artwork displayed in suites and villas on Ifuru Island in the Maldives. Featuring local birds, flowers, fish, coral and the famous Barbie pink lifeguard tower, the artwork beautifully captures the island’s enchanting and unique charm.
