With spring upon us in many parts of the Northern Hemisphere, a lot of new growth (i.e. updates) is sprouting in the WooCommerce world. Our open source status allows ideas to be cross-pollinated between our team and the community, resulting in a constant stream of colorful results.
We are excited to present you with this lovely new bouquet, meticulously arranged just for you.
I think that’s all the extended metaphors I can offer, so please leave a comment if there are any opportunities I missed.
What’s new in WooCommerce?
Order Attribution
It’s a question businesses of all sizes ask: Sales went up, but which efforts got customers?
Order attribution tracking is now available in WooCommerce, allowing you to understand your customers better. Understand which marketing activities converted a lead into a customer. This feature uses a last-click attribution model that gives 100% conversion credit to the last interaction a customer had before visiting your site.
In WooCommerce 8.5, order attribute tracking is available for all WooCommerce stores and is enabled by default. To enable or disable this feature, WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features > Order Attribution.
Learn more about tracking order attributes for your store.
