Navigate the recipe
After exploring the show’s various delicious zones, head to the NEFF Cooking Theatre for a free live cooking demonstration, where some of Australia’s best chefs will share their secret recipes and hot cooking tips.
Taking to the stage this year will be Po, one of MasterChef Australia’s contestants, guests, judges and co-hosts. Po is a fifth-generation Malaysian Chinese who became interested in cooking because he wanted to reconcile his roots with Western culture. He rose to stardom after finishing as runner-up in the first series of MasterChef Australia in 2009.
Her unique food creations and warm, approachable personality endeared her to her audience and made her an instant hit.
Since his breakthrough on MasterChef Australia, Poh has emerged as a prominent figure in the Australian culinary scene and appears frequently on television: he has written five cookbooks, hosted his own TV series and collaborated with a range of celebrity chefs.
In 2019, Poh returned to the MasterChef Australia family as a mentor, competed on MasterChef Australia: Back to Win in 2020 where he placed sixth overall, and then in 2024 joined MasterChef Australia Season 16 as a judge.
Top Chef Lineup
Poe joins an impressive cast that also includes Josh Emmett, Tina Duncan, Vaughn Maby, Annabelle White and Samir Allen.
Whether you’re a food lover, a wine enthusiast, or someone who loves discovering new foods, The Food Show has something to satisfy every palate.
