The much-anticipated Dhiraagu Tekkars Resort Cup 2024 South Kaafu Zone has concluded with success, won by Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The tournament, held over the past two weeks, saw fierce competition between various resorts in the region, displaying great skill and sportsmanship.
The final match, held at Crossroads Maldives’ beautiful futsal court, was a thrilling and gripping experience for the crowd, as Hard Rock Hotel Maldives displayed exceptional teamwork and strategy to emerge victorious 5-2 in a penalty shootout against runners-up Crossroads Maldives.
The event was sponsored by Dhiraagu, a leading digital services provider in the Maldives, and brought together resort teams from across the South Kaafu region. The tournament aimed to foster camaraderie among resort staff, promote healthy competition and highlight the importance of sports in enhancing guest experience at Maldives resorts.
The closing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, Mr. Frédéric Claude Lebes, General Manager of SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton & The Marina Crossroads Maldives, Mr. Alexander Traeger, Assistant General Manager of Crossroads Marina, Mr. Mohamed Adil, and senior representatives from Gold Partners Commercial Bank of Maldives, Redbox and Alia Investments.
The South Kaafu Champions, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, were presented with the prestigious Tekkars Resorts Cup South Kaafu Champions Trophy and Medal. Additionally, special individual awards were presented to them as follows:

The Dhiraagu Tekkars Resort Cup 2024 will next be held in Dhaalu Atoll. It will kick off on 1 August 2024 and be hosted by San Siyam Iru Veli.
