of Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Appointed Chee Hong TatIt appointed Secretary of Transportation and Second Treasury Secretary John F. Kennedy as the new vice chairman of the company’s board of directors.
His term will commence on 23 August 2024 and run until 31 May 2027. Mr Chee joined the MAS Board on 1 June 2024.
Chee’s appointment follows his term as Acting Minister for Transport, a position he has held since July 12, 2023, and his role as Senior Minister of State for Finance.
He has previously held various roles including Senior Minister of State for Transport, Finance, Health, Communications and Information, Education, Trade and Industry and Foreign Affairs.
Additionally, he served as Deputy Secretary General of the National Trades Union Congress from May 2021 to June 2022.
