MSIG Insurance has partnered with broker Embed Global to streamline the business insurance purchasing process for small businesses via WhatsApp.
This initiative marks MSIG’s second use of a WhatsApp chatbot to automate insurance quotes.
The new system will enable small business customers to quickly purchase insurance by interacting with a chatbot that guides them through the process.
After providing basic information, customers receive an instant quote and can complete the transaction through a payment link, and an electronic policy is delivered via email.
The chatbot is powered by artificial intelligence and application programming interfaces (APIs) that connect to MSIG’s underwriting and rating models for seamless quoting.
The insurance offered is called SUMO and covers property, liability, business interruption and employee-related risks with customisation options.
