Payments giant visa Global Neobank Revolut Announced a global partnership aimed at simplifying international payments for businesses.
The collaboration will introduce instant card transfers to Revolut Business customers through Visa Direct, a real-time payments network.
The service eliminates the complexities typically associated with cross-border payments, such as delays and high fees, allowing businesses to send money around the world using only a card number, with funds reaching the recipient within 30 minutes.
The new service is available in over 78 countries and supports over 50 currencies, enhancing Revolut’s existing range of financial services.
The partnership builds on previous collaborations, including peer-to-peer payments with Visa Direct in nearly 90 countries and the launch of a Visa virtual card for Revolut’s B2B travel division.
“Visa is committed to providing the best possible customer service to our customers,” said Mark Jamieson, senior vice president of Global Client, Visa.
“We’re pleased that Visa Direct’s global reach, security and reliability will enable Revolut’s business customers to move money around the world quickly and reliably.
This step deepens our collaboration with Revolut and continues the company’s impressive track record of growth and product differentiation.”
James Gibson, general manager of Revolut Business, added:
“We’re pleased to launch instant card transfers in the UK and EEA. By supporting the major card schemes, we can offer businesses a simple, instant and secure way to make payments to employees, contractors and customers around the world.”
