Walmart will expand its marketplace with premium products, collectibles and second-hand goods. Walmart Growing market The company is expanding its selection by adding a premium aesthetic and offering an expanded selection of collectibles and pre-owned goods. “Resold at Walmart” is the company’s new digital destination. UsedCollectibles Shop allows sellers to build customer anticipation for the drop by allowing them to pre-order collectibles as pre-owned items that will be resold at Walmart. Qualifying sellers can enjoy 0% commission on collectibles through October 31st.
Onfleet has partnered with Shopify to enhance your shopping and delivery experience. Onfleet, Last Mile Delivery Management platform, and Shopify announced a partnership. The integration will automatically create Onfleet shipping tasks from Shopify Fulfillment orders to streamline order fulfillment for merchants. Shopify merchants will have real-time visibility into the status of their shipments, including when they are scheduled for delivery, when they left their store, and when they arrived at the customer.
BigCommerce strengthens platform with AI tools from Google. Big Commerce Partnered with Google Developing AI-powered tools for brands. BigAI Product Recommendations, powered by Google AI, allows brands to deliver personalized recommendations in real-time. The release of BigAI Copywriter allows marketers to optimize existing product descriptions or create search engine optimized descriptions using the brand’s language and tone. BigAI predictive analytics provides insights into the future lifetime value of new shoppers, BigCommerce Customers Soon, you’ll be able to send custom quote proposal emails powered by generative AI.
Carbon6 acquires Junglytics AI-powered platform for Amazon sellers. Carbon 6Amazon’s business platform YunglyticsJunglytics is an AI-powered business intelligence product that empowers sellers to make data-driven decisions. The acquisition will enhance Carbon6’s capabilities by integrating Junglytics’ AI technology with Carbon6’s data platform. AI Assistant The acquisition, which is part of Amazon’s global network of retail partners, is a step forward for Amazon.com Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc., which owns Amazon.com Inc. and Amazon.com Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc., and which operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc.
Reboxed has launched a circular services recommerce platform for brands. Circular economy startups Reboxed announced the launch of ReboxedOS for re-commerce of consumer electronics. Circulation service It’s a solution that allows companies to integrate resale, trade-in and recycling programs without having to build their own infrastructure. Initially launched as a direct-to-consumer marketplace for technology, Reboxed has created a suite of services to help brands and retailers turn reuse into revenue.
Amazon has invested $20 million in India-based BNPL company Axio. India base Buy now, pay later Hard Axio has received $20 million in equity investment from Amazon’s Smbhav Venture Fund. Formed through the merger of Capital Float, Walnut and Walnut369, Axio enables e-commerce stores to integrate credit financing and money management tools into their checkout. With 9 million credit customers and 3,000 merchants, Axio provides the foundation for Amazon’s pay later service in India, offering shoppers three to 12 month installments.
Rep AI raises $8.2 million for its AI sales concierge. Sales ToolsRep AI leverages behavioral AI and large-scale language models to enable online merchants to deliver personalized sales assistance at scale. Rep AI’s technology deploys behavioral AI to analyze each shopper’s browsing patterns to proactively offer assistance, providing customized product specifications and personalized recommendations.
Google is updating its tools for retailers this holiday season. At a recent Think Retail virtual event, Google The company released an update for the holiday season. New Merchant Center users will soon be able to explore shopping trends and popular shopping queries, ranked by popularity and organized by topic and product. Google said it is adding two generative AI insight features to Merchant Center: (i) an insights summary at the top of the analytics tab about product performance, and (ii) a tool to turn user requests into custom reports with performance data.
Etsy introduced a search display page that prioritizes low-cost shipping. Ötzi A “Search Appearance Page” has been added to Shop Manager, providing detailed information about your seller’s appearance in search and recommended actions to improve search performance. Additionally, starting October 1, Etsy will reflect U.S. domestic shipping rates in searches for U.S. listings, except for certain categories and items shipped from outside the U.S.
IKEA launches second-hand goods marketplace. IKEA IKEA is launching an online marketplace for second-hand goods where customers can buy and sell with each other. IKEA Preowned is live in Madrid and Oslo, and the company plans to roll out the site globally by December. Sellers list their items on IKEA Preowned, and IKEA’s algorithms generate product details, such as dimensions and original retail price.
PayJunction expands payment capabilities with text-to-pay functionality. Pay JunctionA technology-focused payments company Pay by text The company has added features to its no-code payment integrations, virtual terminals and APIs that the company says will enable businesses to implement text payments into their current invoice workflows and accept customer payments via SMS without handling cardholder information.
