UnionPay has partnered with payment solutions provider AXS to introduce a new bill payment service tailored for mainland Chinese residents in Singapore.
With the UnionPay app, users can now conveniently pay for a range of bills, including household bills, education fees, electricity bills, apartment management fees, seasonal parking fees, town hall fees, medical fees and home services directly with their UnionPay cards issued in mainland China.
This seamless cross-border payment solution allows users to consolidate invoices and make payments through the AXS tile within the UnionPay app.
Users can add up to eight payment items in one transaction, with a payment limit of S$2,000 and a 2% service fee.
However, payments for condominium condominium association stakes (MCST) can only be made as a stand-alone transaction.
Transactions take 3-5 business days to process and users will receive an e-receipt via email.
